Refreshment Facilities are located close to the accessible viewing areas at all levels. Accessible services & information

The Millennium Stadium operates a personal radio receiver system with either a head-set or mini-induction loop in order for commentary to be available for the visually impaired and hard of hearing. However, due to the advances in technology since the Stadium's construction, this system is currently under review with a view to introducing improvements.

Assistance Dogs will be permitted in the Stadium by prior arrangement with management. In order to provide sufficient room and comfort for the dogs they will be restricted to the accessible viewing area at the rear of the lower tier of seating on Level 3.

There are no specific areas of the ground that facilitate access for the ambulant disabled, however, there are several seats which can be accessed easily by those persons using crutches, sticks or walking frames. Please call 029 2082 2145 for more information before you book your tickets

Ten wheelchairs supplied by Invacare (UK) Ltd are available for use by spectators at the Millennium Stadium to provide easy, escorted access to their seats. Please note that these wheelchairs cannot be pre-booked, however, team stewards for disabled visitors are deployed at all entrances prior to kick off and provide highly efficient customer care before and after the game.

Millennium Stadium wheelchairs cannot be used in the disabled viewing areas, they must be available to use at all times and cannot be booked for whole event use. Spectators wishing to hire wheelchairs in Cardiff can do so via the local Shopmobility or Bush Healthcare.

Match: Various Games

Published: 26/10/2012

I have been to the Millenium Stadium on three occassions.

Liverpool Vs. Manchester United (Worthington Cup Final 2004)

Wales Vs. England (WC 2006 Qualifier)

Arsenal Vs. Chelsea Carling Cup Final.

The later two games I had great seats at the rear of a lower tier just behind and to the side of goal. Felt very safe, very involved and enjoyed games.

When I went to Worthington Cup final I sat at side and everytime fans stood up I missed action, however the Liverpool fans recognised a fellow supporter and tried to remain calm and got a message all the way to the front to reduce standing.

No parking near ground. Sofia Gardens nearby is good and accessible route.
