AFC Bournemouth celebrate Mohammed & Martin as their Weeks of Action 'Game Changers'

Martin & Mohammed

AFC Bournemouth celebrated both Mohammed & Martin as 'Game Changers' for their efforts every matchday in the clubs accessible DC lounge.

This is in recognition of the positive feedback Bournemouth regularly receive from both home and visiting disabled fans on matchdays.

Mohammed has been part of the AFC Bournemouth family for over 10 years, including six years as a disability steward on the East Stand viewing platform.

Martin has supported the Cherries for 50 years and started working for the club in 1991 as a programme seller. Since this season, he co-hosts the DC Lounge with Mohammed and both pride themselves on providing a warm welcome along with a hot drink and a teamsheet.

Before their recent home match with Swansea City, both Mohammed & Martin were on hand once again to welcome home and away supporters with a focus on LPF's Weeks of Action with LPF t-shirts, pennants and wristabands to raise awareness of the campaign and the work of LPF.

In further support of the Weeks of Action campaign, AFC Bournemouth Ability Counts players were flagbearers at the match. Ability Counts provides the opportunity for children and adults with any form of learning and/or physical disability to play football and represent the Cherries in an environment best suited to their individual requirements.
