Bradford City Disability Organisation to launch!

Bradford City

Bradford City Disability Organisation (Bantams DO) is launching on Thursday 9th April at a special event at Valley Parade.

Bantams Do is the brainchild of lifelong Bradford City fan and disability advocate, Kate Eveleigh and will be working work closely with the club and Level Playing Field to represent disabled supporters and organise social events. It is the eighth Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) to be established during Level Playing Field’s Working Together project which offers support to clubs and disabled fans who would like to establish a new DSA.

The event will start at 7pm at Bradford City’s 1911 club. There will be guests from several disability organisations and the club. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet the new committee.

Founder Kate Eveleigh said,  ‘At Bradford City, we have several fans with disabilities and we had no place where we could all come together and discuss the ups and downs of supporting the team and the issues specific to people with disabilities. I am looking forward to working with our talented committee to provide this environment and support the club to build on their existing facilities. I would like to thank LPF for their continued support.’

If you would like to attend. Please email Kate Eveleigh at bantamsdo@gmail.com for a guest number.
