A debate was held in the House of Lords on the 25th July on the international economic and cultural contributions of English Premier League football which was raised by Lord Bates. During the debate several questions about disabled fans access at Premier League clubs and the need for improvements were raised.
LPF’s Vice President Lord Faulkner of Worcester raised one of these questions. He referred to Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson’s recent evidence to the Lords Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Committee into the legacy aspects of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in which she raised her grave concerns about disabled fans access to some Premier League clubs.
