Peterborough United celebrate Weeks of Action in style

Peterborough United invited a number of charity organisations along to London Road for their League 1 clash with Rochdale to mark this year's Weeks of Action campaign.

 

Among the charities invited were Little People UK, with actor, comedian and founder of the charity Warwick Davis in attendance helping to raise awareness of their work. You can find out more about Little People UK and the work they do here.

 

The other charities involved on the day were the Alzheimers Society who held a bucket collection, John Willis from Perform2Inspire who undertake vital work breaking down barriers so that disabled and non-disabled people can play sport together and Independence Dogs UK who met supporters prior to kick-off.

The Peterborough United Amputee team were also in attendance as they dazzled the crowd with their skills before kick off, which you can see in the fantastic video below.
