Bar Staff / Kitchen Assistant - Casual 

Everton are currently looking for enthusiastic Bar and Kitchen staff to join our team, who have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

 

You will support the Head Chef/Hospitality Manager by making sure that the Kitchen and Bar areas are managed and operated effectively at all times, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness and health and safety. You will be required to prepare food ready for service and may be involved in some cooking, as well as waiting on tables and serving customers behind the Bar.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Head Chef / Hospitality Manager, to prepare hot & cold food / drinks as and when required and provide a full hospitality service for day to day / evening events that take place within the EitC Campus. 
  • To provide a full Bar service to customers, ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
  • To support the Head Chef / Hospitality Manager in his day-to-day role, as required.
  • To undertake daily washing / tidying / cleaning / maintenance routines in accordance with hygiene requirements.
  • To regularly check and monitor all Kitchen / Bar areas to ensure cleanliness and professional standards of food hygiene are maintained at all times, including daily food / freezer temperature checks etc.
  • To ensure all Kitchen / Bar areas are clean and clear of rubbish at all times and all rubbish is disposed of properly.
  • To assist in maintaining stock levels both within the Kitchen & Bar area and the vending machine, ensuring sufficient stock is stored appropriately and to include checking deliveries as and when required.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a Food hygiene certificate (Level 2) to allow working in the kitchen area, also you will need strong organisational and planning skills to allow safe working.

Head of Youth Coaching, Player Development & Education

Everton are currently recruiting for a fantastic role to join our Ladies Football team as a Head of Youth Coaching. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing an Elite coaching and player development program within the Everton Academy. You will be responsible for leading and managing all Academy coaching staff and the coaching programme to ensure we deliver a comprehensive player development program.

 

Continually monitoring player development across all phases and ages and ensuring that each player receives an individualised development is key, as is evaluating and maximising the effectiveness of our coaching, fixtures and Academy Programmes.

 

You will be responsible for establishing Educational links with the Everton Academy and RTC, developing and maintaining relationships with Academy players and their Education Establishment. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage the coaching, games, and Academy Programmes to most effectively align with the Everton Academy Way. Provide regular updates on the status and effectiveness of these programs to the General Manager.
  • Organise all Academy coaches to maximise the effectiveness of coaching programmes throughout all age groups.
  • Contribute to the ongoing education of and effective communication with parents, families and care givers.
  • Attend and positively contribute to the Everton Ladies Management Team and Technical Board Meetings.
  • Define and be accountable to meet or exceed all coaching department performance targets.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has extensive experience of working in football, and has the ability to apply sport and coaching science principles to maximise player development.

Safe Hands and Breathing Space Support Worker 

Everton are currently recruiting for a support worker to join our Safe Hands programme, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Everton in the Community team.

 

The Safe Hands Programme offers males and Females, aged 10-19, from Merseyside the opportunity to make significant and lasting life changes. Specialist Everton in the Community staff will work alongside regional custodial facilities, Youth Offending services and other regional partners, to implement a comprehensive programme of the activities through 3 stages to support all areas of a young person’s development.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Safe Hands and Breathing Space Manager to ensure that young people are recruited, developed, engaged and monitored in line with Everton in the Community guidelines.
  • To meet with a case load of young people, aged 10-19, at education, young offending institutes, care facilities; to build trusting and professional relationships and engage the young people in the Safe Hands and Breathing Space programme.
  • Assess the needs to the young person and put together a tailored individual action plan that incorporate a wide-variety of activities.
  • Assist the young people in forming a Youth Action Group allowing their voices to be heard when making key project decisions.
  • Assist the Project Manager in gathering information as required for periodic reporting to funders and other key stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who has great communication skills, and an excellent ability to listen and respond to individual’s needs.

 

Please note it is essential that you hold a NVQ Level 2 youth worker, or other relevant qualifications and experience in order to be considered for this role.

Cook 

Everton are currently looking for an excellent cook to join an exciting team.  You will be required to cook and serve food in the People’s Hub Café and to ensure the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in all Kitchen and storage areas throughout each working day.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To prepare hot & cold food/drinks as and when required and provide full hospitality services for day to day events that take place in the People’s Hub.
  • Daily cleaning of the main kitchen in accordance with hygiene requirements, including:
    All work surfaces, all kitchen equipment, food service points, floors, shelving area, fridges, freezers and tables within the café area.
  • To provide an excellent level of customer service at all times to all staff and external visitors to the café.
  • To regularly check and monitor all kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and professional standards of food hygiene are maintained at all times, including daily temperature checks etc.
  • To maintain stock levels both within the café area and the vending machine, ensuring sufficient stock is stored appropriately and to include checking deliveries as and when required.
  • To place appropriate orders as and when required, through consultation with Head Chef / Hospitality Manager.
  • To prepare end of day cash takings, using the till as required.
  • To adhere to the Club’s Health and Safety policy.

It is essential that you have a minimum Level 2 NVQ in catering and hospitality, as well as the passion for providing great food and excellent service.

Lead Creative

Everton are currently looking for a highly creative and experienced Lead Creative with a passion for and proven ability of overseeing the creative output of a fast paced Design Studio.

 

Alongside the Head of Marketing and Director of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate would be highly involved in the signing off process of all creative assets created by the Design team. They will assume management responsibility of the Design team ensuring that we consistently deliver work to a high standard, within specified timeframes and to budget, whilst continually developing their skills.

 

The Lead Creative will play a key role in leading Club side on all key creative campaigns such as kit launch and Season Ticket campaigns and will hold responsibility for ensuring continually improving and enforcing the Club’s brand guidelines.

 

The role will also require the successful candidate to be a confident presenter and have the ability to pitch work to senior stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Signing off of all creative assets created by the department for approval by the HOM and DMC.
  • Managing the Design Team day to day, developing their skills and overseeing their work.
  • The role will require the Lead Creative to ensure all work is delivered to standard and the agreed timeframe/budget. Making sure that other departments adhere to the agreed policies.
  • Managing the consistency of output from the Design team
  • Keeping up to date with all design trends within sport and other relevant industries.
  • Leading Club side on all key creative campaigns such as kit launch and Season Ticket campaigns.
  • To liaise with all external design agencies on larger projects, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Constantly improving and enforcing the Club’s brand guidelines.
  • The role will require the successful candidate to be confident presenting and pitching work to Director level staff on a frequent basis.
  • Responsible for proofing the accuracy of all design work
  • Assessing any skills shortages and flagging these as training requirements to the HOM
  • Identifying upcoming design requirements and acting on them.
