Sheila Quinn

Match: Halifax Town vs York City

Published: 3/8/2015

I telephoned Halifax prior to the match to arrange a car parking space & a wheelchair space.

Arriving at the ground we were directed to a disabled car parking space next to the turnstile. £3 charge.

We never saw anyone selling programmes.

I went to reception & paid for our ticket & told to get the lift to the 3rd floor.

This took us to the disabled area which was a platform above the main stand seating.

Excellent view. .

I asked a steward where we could get a cup of tea & he told me to walk down the steps to pitchside, walk along the front & into the way out.  It was pouring down so I didn't bother.

We didn't see any disabled toilets but we didn't need them so never bothered asking.

After the match a steward stopped other cars exiting the car park so we could get way from the ground.

A nice ground but the stewards could have been more helpful.
