Arsenal for Everyone

Embracing Diversity and Equality Arsenal v Hull City, Saturday 18th October 2014

Arsenal celebrated the diversity and equality of the club and its supporters at a recent game through the Arsenal for Everyone scheme. Level Playing Field Chair, Joyce Cook, OBE and LPF Trustee, Rosie Perkins were invited to the match with representatives from  Kick It Out and Headscarves to Football Scarves  along with several other groups and organisations.

Arsenal is committed to ensuring that everyone associated with the club feels an equal sense of belonging. The club’s community projects reach roughly 5,000 people each week.  Similarly, Arsenal has demonstrated its commitment to inclusion by providing more accessible facilities for its disabled supporters.

The Emirates Stadium is one of only 3 stadia in England and Wales to have been awarded a Level Playing Field Centre of Excellence Award and Arsenal was the first professional football club to achieve the advanced level Equality Standard – a framework designed by Kick It Out to support clubs with their equality and diversity practices.
