On Saturday 9th March, Nicky Baker, Access and Development Officer for Level Playing Field travelled to Carlisle United to celebrate Weeks of Action.

Carlisle United are the most northern football league club in England.

Carlisle United had their players warm-up in Level Playing Field t-shirts and one of the highlights, was a goalkeeper, whilst warming up, taking the time out to pass to the ball to and from a child.

Young players from Carlisle United’s Football Club Sport Trust formed a guard of honour in recognition of Weeks of Action.

Nicky Baker said, “It was a great day in recognition the Weeks of Action. Thank you to Carlisle United for your support and hosting us. Even though the day started wet and windy, it ended in a 2-1 victory for the home side.
