Chair resigns from CAFE positions

Chair of Level Playing Field, Tony Taylor, has resigned from his positions as Trustee and Director at Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) and on the supervisory board for Stitching CAFE.

This decision will ensure Taylor is able to dedicate his full focus towards his role at Level Playing Field, as the charity looks to continue to build on its significant growth in recent years and the positive impact which that has upon disabled sports fans.

Level Playing Field is currently leading on the Accessible Stadia rewrite, which offers an unmatched opportunity to improve standards across sport. Taylor is keen to guarantee that opportunity is taken and provide clarity on the bodies he speaks on behalf of during discussions around implementation.

Level Playing Field remains committed to working in collaboration with CAFE, wherever that can result in further access and inclusion for disabled fans. The charity will take direct action when representing supporters in football’s European competitions, while continuing to share all relevant information.
