Disabled Supporters Associations celebrate the festive season

Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) members across the England and Wales have been meeting their footballing heroes at their annual Christmas parties.

Swansea DSA were treated to special guest appearances from Tammy Abraham, Emma Beynon and DSA Ambassador Lee Trundle. The club paid for refreshments and attendees enjoyed carols, crackers, games and food.

Newcastle United DSA used their Christmas party to introduce their new DSA Ambassador Dwight Gale who met supporters and took the time to pose for photographs.

Liverpool DSA were joined by Gini Wijnaldum and Marko Grujic who also met supporters and posed for photographs. Supporters enjoyed a three course dinner, social activities and entertainment.

The Blackburn Disabled Supporters Christmas party was attended by over 200 fans who were able to meet Manager Tony Mowbray and the first team squad who kicked off the evening by assembling for a large group photo on the dance floor. The players then posed for selfies, signed autographs and played computer games with attendees.

We hope you all had a wonderful time. Please let us know if your DSA held a party and send photographs to info@levelplayingfield.org.uk.
