Dyslexia Awareness Week 2021

To recognise Dyslexia Awareness Week, Level Playing Field chief executive Owain Davies & fans liaison officer Liam Bird sat down & had a chat about their own experiences dealing with Dyslexia

This week is dyslexia week; an annual event that aims to raise awareness of dyslexia while celebrating best practices in dyslexia that empowers individuals to achieve their potential.

Level Playing Field chief executive Owain Davies said: “Dyslexia is a hugely passionate and personal subject for me. I was diagnosed over 25 years ago. Being diagnosed supported me in getting the help and support I needed. I was fortunate to have people around me alongside a good education to harness my strengths and to support my weaknesses.

“I hope through the Dyslexia Week campaign we can raise awareness that by having inclusive and understanding environments, we can help people with dyslexia flourish and reach or exceed their potential.”
