Football Content Awards 2025 finalists include Level Playing Field

Level Playing Field has been shortlisted in the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award – Organisation category, at the Football Content Awards 2025.

Voting is now open on the Football Content Awards website and will close at midnight on Sunday 12 October.

The charity has been pleased to be listed in the category for the third successive time since the introduction of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Awards, back in 2023. Since then, prominence has been brought to both organisations and individuals doing important and positive work in the space through their content.

Particularly notable content from Level Playing Field this year, came from the ‘Unite For Access’ campaign, which made a significant impact on football, with 100% participation across two of the top for divisions for the first time. The central campaign film had disabled fans’ voices at the heart of it and was focused on combating disability abuse, in response to concerning trends in the charity’s annual fan survey results. The main film was produced in a range of accessible formats and was complemented by a series of shorter videos on specific areas.

Throughout the year, episodes of the Level Playing Field Podcast have also covered different topics across disability and sport, including conversations with disabled supporters and former players.

Level Playing Field has been nominated alongside A Love Supreme, Bury FC, Chelsea Pride, Free Agents FC, Her Game Too, Manchester FA, Mental Health FC, Rainbow Blades, Rainbow Toffees ,Robyns Round – Bristol City Women’s Supporters Group, SE DONS FC, SheScores, Soccerdonna and The Shrimpers Trust. Full details of finalists across all categories can be found here.

Voting is open to everyone on the Football Content Awards website, so fans are encouraged to share the opportunity before the Sunday 12 October deadline.
