Gillingham FC seeking members to form Disabled Supporters Association

Gillingham Football Club is actively seeking to attract members to form a Disabled Supporters Association, GFC DSA.

The Association will work together with Gillingham Football Club and Level Playing Field to help raise awareness and to deliver a positive match day experience for disabled supporters by providing regular and constructive feedback. The main aim of the GFC DSA is to promote good access and inclusion within Gillingham football club to help improve the matchday experience for all disabled supporters attending football matches at MEMS Priestfield Stadium. The GFC DSA will be run by Disabled Supporters for Disabled Supporters and will be providing its members with a ‘united’ voice within the club. With the adoption of the Social Model of Disability and implementation of the GFC DSA we at Gillingham FC believe that we can work together to achieve Equality for All. An informal coffee morning will take place in May, date to be confirmed, to discuss the setting up of the GFC DSA.
