Level Playing Field Chair, Joyce Cook OBE, has been named by the Independent on Sunday as one of the 50 most influential women in sport.
The list, published on Sunday 9th August 2015, includes women from a diverse variety of backgrounds in sport and represents a huge accolade for Joyce’s tireless campaigning for greater access and inclusion for disabled sports fans.
In addition to her role at Level Playing Field, Joyce is also the founding and Managing Director of our sister organisation CAFE, a member of the Football Association’s Inclusivity Advisory Board, a board member of Fare and Director of Women in Football.
Joyce was also awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Years Honours List for her services to disabled football supporters in 2012.
