Level Playing Field are pleased to support Deaf Awareness Week.
We encourage clubs and venues to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. Good examples include the use of hearing induction loops, flashing fire alarms, making sure that announcements are displayed on a screen if possible, and making sure staff are appropriately trained.
Surrey FA have showed their support by releasing a video on Coaching Football: Sign Language Tutorials. The video teaches you some sign language that you can implement next time you’re playing, coaching or watching football.
