Newport County DSA introduce ‘Buy a Brick’ initiative to help improve facilities for disabled fans

Newport County DSA have introduced a ‘Buy a Brick’ initiative in order to improve facilities for away supporters at Rodney Parade.

The initiative allows fans to have their name or a message engraved on a brick that will be displayed within the stadium, with the proceeds going towards new shelters being installed in the section for visiting disabled fans. The planned developments will enable disabled fans to be sheltered from the elements, enhancing the matchday experience for away supporters.

The Football Stadium Improvement Fund (FSIF) will match the funds raised by the campaign, which is hoped to be in the region of £4,500.

Newport County DSA was established in 2015 as part of the Level Playing Field Working Together project.
