Sheffield United Disabled Supporters celebrate their 15th Anniversary

Sheffield United Disabled Supporters Association enjoyed a night to remember to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

Around 75 SUDS members enjoyed a three course meal at Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village in Woodhouse, Sheffield where they were joined by a host of club dignitaries including Blades Manager Danny Wilson, FC chairman David Green, Operations Director Dave McCarthy and club legend Tony Currie who is Patron to SUDS to celebrate their anniversary.  Entertainment was supplied by a group of singers who are friends of one of the members.

During the evening, Danny Wilson presented Janet Ireland, SUDS Secretary and LPF Treasurer, with a commemorative plaque.  Janet was also presented with a bouquet from the members of SUDS.

Janet said: “It was such a wonderful surprise and meant so much to me, especially as the plaque was presented to me by Danny.”
