On November 25th ‘442oons’ put out a cartoon parodied video of football managers commenting on the weekend games have gone by.
In one of these cartoons, they choose to make a poor taste joke at the expense of disabled football supporters, implying that disabled people are ‘less than’ non-disabled people.
This kind of thinking is archaic and dangerous. 442oons have a big social media following, so this kind of thought processes can be hugely damaging and hurtful to disabled people.
We urge 442oon to edit the video and think about the language that they use in the future.
