Watch Cambridge United Audio Description Service in Action at Open Day on the 28th July

Cambridge United are pleased to announce that for a third successive year they will be providing a dedicated audio descriptive commentary for blind and partially-sighted supporters at ALL home League and Cup games throughout the forthcoming 2013/14 season.

Organised and operated entirely by trained volunteers, this service utilises small individual hand-held receivers which enable users to listen to a specially-tailored commentary of the game wherever they happen to be within the R Costings Abbey Stadium. The service is completely FREE to ALL supporters , home or away; in addition, each user can be accompanied by one personal assistant who is entitled to a complimentary ticket. Receivers are, however, limited in number so it is strongly recommended that potential users reserve them in advance to avoid disappointment.

For more details on the service or to reserve a receiver contact Nick Parker on 07929 589925 or nick.parker56@googlemail.com.

If you would like to see the audio description service in action and meet members of the commentary team they will be in attendance at the free Cambridge United Open Day which is being held on Sunday July 28th between 10.30am and 3,00pm.

Cambridge United look forward to meeting you at the Abbey and enhancing your matchday experience.
