Weeks of Action League 2 Preview

With Weeks of Action just days away, more Clubs than ever before from League 2 getting involved, we round-up what is happening.

Lincoln City are having several activities at home to Oldham Athletic. The players will warm-up in t-shirts. There will be some magical moments throughout the evening, such as a dugout experience, selfie with a player and the opportunity to read the teams out. There is the potential of trialling a half time food delivery to wheelchair users and possibly an away coach to MK Dons.

At Newport County’s game on 16th March, will be focussing on the positive impact that sport can have on mental health. There will be lots of activities leading to this game, including the screening of videos and working with the other organisations of My Discombobulated Brain and Walking With the Same Shirt.

Exeter City welcome young deaf spectators and will have sign language available throughout the game.

This just highlights some of the great work being done across League 2 Clubs.

League 2 Coordinator from Level Playing Field, “It is great to see so many League 2 Clubs getting involved. There are so many good things happening across League 2. It is a great opportunity for Clubs to showcase work they are already doing or to start new services”.
