Working Together, 3rd South Coast Forum held at Southampton FC

On 3rd October 2017, Southampton FC and Saints Disabled Supporters Associaiton (DSA) hosted the third South Coast Forum at St Mary’s Stadium.

The forum was organised by Level Playing Field (LPF) with support from Southampton FC and Saints DSA. The objective of the forum is to provide a medium where individual DSAs and club representatives can network and share experiences and best practise. There were presentations from Level Playing Field, Saints Foundation, Southampton FC and Saints DSA.

The South Coast Forum was established as part of LPF’s Working Together project and had previously been hosted by Portsmouth FC in 2015 and Crawley Town in 2016.

A copy of the forum summary can be found here.

LPF Project Coordinator Kieran Reynolds said, “I would like to thank Southampton FC and Saints DSA for hosting the third South Coast Forum. It was great to see so many new and familiar faces share information and best practice with each other”.

LPF Development Officer Owain Davies said, “It’s fantastic to see clubs and DSAs come together to further drive an accessible experience for disabled fans. The forum is a brilliant platform to share best practice and to identify a good way of working together”
