Working Together: Manchester City to host inaugural North West Regional Forum

We are delighted to announce details of the first North West Regional Forum which is being organised by Manchester City Football Club and Manchester City Disabled Supporters Association with support from Level Playing Field.

The forum will be taking place at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium from 1pm – 4pm on Wednesday 8th February 2017.

The objective of the forum is to provide a medium where individual DSAs and club representatives can exchange views, policies and practices concerning their respective clubs and associations. We believe that this will assist all clubs and DSAs in their efforts to improve their own club’s disabled facilities as well as improve the standard of customer service offered to disabled supporters. The ultimate aim being to improve their matchday experience and for more disabled people to attend football matches.

We are inviting DSAs, Disability Liaison Officers (DLOs) and other relevant stakeholders. If you are aware of anyone else at your club who would like to attend, please give us their name, position at the club and their contact details so we can contact them. Please note that there is a currently a limit of two people per organisation.

We are hoping there will also be an opportunity for a short stadium tour afterwards to show you the facilities Manchester City Football Club currently offers for disabled supporters.

An agenda will be sent to delegates in January. Please RSVP by 10am Monday 6th February by sending an email to kieran@levelplayingfield.org.uk or calling Kieran on 0208 621 2487.
