Wycombe Wanderers DSA enjoy their first away day

The association visited the Etihad Stadium for the Chairboys Carabao Cup tie against Manchester City.

Formed earlier this year with the intention of improving services and facilities for the club’s disabled fans, the Association teamed up with Motts Travel to provide a special coach for its members for the trip north.

Peter Lerner, a director of Wycombe Wanderers Trust and co-founder of the Association, said: “It was a proud and significant moment for us to play a big part in enabling Wycombe Wanderers’ disabled supporters to travel in comfort to such a prestigious fixture.

“I’d like to thank everyone involved in making it happen, including my colleagues at the Trust, the club’s safety officer Steve Copp, and the team at Motts Travel for providing the coach.

“We hope this is the first of many away days for our Association and invite fans who may be interested in joining the Association to contact us at any time via email at dsa@wwfc.com.”
