Yeovil Town & Newport County celebrate Weeks of Action on World Autism Awareness day

Yeovil Town & Newport County joined forces to celebrate the Level Playing Field Weeks of Action on World Autism Awareness day, as the two sides met in League 2 on the 2nd April.

The event was supported by local autism group, Autism Wessex, with a stand outside the ground and staff to promote their activities.

Prior to the game, players from both teams wore Autistic Society t-shirts with the team mascots decked out in LPF t-shirts and handed out wristbands to fans who had turned up in blue to support the National Autistic Society’s ‘Light it up Blue’ campaign (#LIUB). There was also an exchange of signed pennants between Yeovil Town & Newport County’s Disabled Supporters Associations.
