Response from Stockport County:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your recent visit to Edgeley Park. While we strive to ensure every supporter – home or away – feels welcome at our ground.
We appreciate the specific points you raised, as they help us identify where we can improve the matchday experience. Regarding your comments:
• Parking and Accessibility – Being located in a traditional residential area, on-site parking is unfortunately extremely limited. However, we do offer designated drop-off points near the stadium specifically for supporters with mobility issues. We’re sorry if this wasn’t clearly communicated or available to you on the day and we are working hard on making sure these communications are filtered out to all attendees.
• Stewarding – Please be assured that your feedback has been circulated internally to our safety and stewarding teams. We are constantly reviewing our operations to ensure our staff provides the most helpful and welcoming environment possible.
• Facilities and Weather – While we unfortunately can’t control the British weather, we recognise that our current facilities have their limitations. To address this, we are currently in the process of developing a new stand, which is a major step toward modernising the stadium and providing better protection and amenities for all fans.
We value the input of visiting supporters and will use your comments to help us refine how we operate moving forward. We hope that, should you visit us again in the future, you have a much more positive experience.

This was not a good experience. There was no parking at the ground and trying to find disabled parking nearby was impossible. Once in the stadium, the disabled area was pitchside. and near the corner flag.. I couldn’t see goal on one side due to stewards standing in front of me. The worst part was having no cover from the stand and having to sit in torrential rain. We were offered a plastic poncho 5 minutes before half time but it was too late. I wont be going to the stadium again
