Reporting: Finance Manager

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the AP/AR Manager will play a key role in the finance team, providing strong support and ensuring processes and procedures are followed, the AP/AR Manager will oversee supervision of a small team of Finance Assistants and ensure they are given appropriate support to enable effective delivery.

Tackling the Blues Coordinator – Everton In The Community (EITC)

Location: Everton’s People’s Hub, Edge Hill University and mobile throughout Merseyside and West Lancashire
Responsible to: Tackling the Blues Senior Project Coordinator
Responsible for: Casual staff and volunteers
Everton In The Community are recruiting for a Tackling the Blues Coordinator to join our Tackling the Blue Programme. The programme provides a range of interactive and engaging activities to young people in schools including multi-sport sessions, tailored educational activities and peer-led activities, all with a focus on mental health and wellbeing. These sessions have included competitive and non-competitive activities which have been associated with positive behaviour change amongst those experiencing mental illness. The project has involved extensive consultation with young people and education workers who act as project collaborators, help recruit participants and deliver peer mentor workshops, engaging in various research and evaluation activities.
Everton in the Community has worked in partnership with Edge Hill University since 2013 and our work has included the delivery (from 2015) of Tackling the Blues, an award-winning (Times Higher Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community 2016, Cross-Sector Award of Charity Times 2017) sport, physical activity and education-based mental health awareness programme targeting young people aged 6-16 who are experiencing, or are at risk of, developing mental illness.
The successful candidate will form a key part of the wider Health Programme at Everton in the Community overseen by the Director of Health and Sport while reporting into the Tackling the Blues Lead Coordinator.
